Registration Rates and Deadlines


Online Registration Site

At least one author of each long or short paper must register before Sep 30th, 2016 in order for that paper to be included in the proceedings. The author may be a student registrant or a full registrant. One registration can cover at most two papers.

For early planning purposes, all attendees are encouraged to complete Online Registration beforeSep 30th, 2016.

** If you would like to reserve banquet ticket(s) for accompanying person(s), first, you need to add the name of the accompanying person(s) in creating your account, then, choose the number of additional banquet ticket(s) on the registration page.

Visa

The local committee is able to provide visa support letters to authorized attendees. For visa support letters, please send your request to both icmi2016-local[at]acm.org and hhhuang[at]acm.org . All requests are handled in the order they are received. If you do not receive a response from a local chair within a few days, please resend your request. The information below should be included in the request.

  •  Name (exactly as it appears on attendee’s passport)
  •  Attendee’s registration confirmation number
  •  Paper title and ID if the attendee is an author of accepted paper
  •  Email address
  •  Postal address
Please note that the support letter issued by ACM does NOT guarantee the issue of your visa. Since the investigation process of your visa application may take one to two months, please contact the nearest Embassy of Japan for detailed information of required documents as soon as possible . We are aware that the following documents may be required for your visa application:
  •  Reason for invitation
  •  Detailed schedule in Japan
  •  Letter of guarantee
In that case, please fill the visa support form and send it to us with the scanned image of the page which has your photo in your passport.
