Conference Developmental Funds to Broaden Participation
To broaden participation at ICMI 2018, we are pleased to offer partial financial support in following three categories. Application deadline for each category is September 30, 2018. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis until funding runs out. For further information contact Hana Vrzakova.
Breaking down Barriers to Participation
The fund aims to partially cover costs related to participation at the conference, e.g. child daycare (up to 250 USD), visa application fee (up to 200 USD), travel scholarships for attendees from underrepresented and development areas (up to 750 USD). Funding in this category will be need-based and priority will be given to those presenting at the conference.

Priority will be given to undergraduate students with ICMI-related majors (CS, engineering, psychology, neuroscience, etc.), women and underrepresented minorities, students who have never attended a SIGCHI conference, and those considering graduate school in a SIGCHI-related area.
