The 21st ACM International Conference on Multimodal Interaction
(ICMI 2019) will be held in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. ICMI is the premier international
forum for multidisciplinary research on multimodal human-human and human-computer
interaction, interfaces, and system development. The conference focuses
on theoretical and empirical foundations, component technologies, and combined
multimodal processing techniques that define the field of multimodal interaction
analysis, interface design, and system development. ICMI 2019 will feature
a single-track main conference which includes: keynote speakers, technical
full and short papers (including oral and poster presentations), special
sessions, demonstrations, exhibits and doctoral spotlight papers.

Due to the overlap with CHI 2019, the ICMI paper deadline is moved to May 13 at 11:59 PM PDT.
PCS is open for ICMI 2019 submissions!
The abstract deadline is May 1. Please see the author instructions for important information about the new SIGCHI templates. There is a new workflow for Word users that simplifies initial submissions. We hope this will alleviate many of the problems with previous Word templates.
The proceedings of ICMI 2019 will be published by ACM as part of their series of International
Conference Proceedings. ICMI 2019 will follow the ACM Policy Against Discrimination and Harassment.
