ICMI 2026 is an in-person conference. We are pleased to welcome you to Naples, Italy.

Please keep in mind the following important dates:

Registration opens:
July 10th, 2026
Early birds before:
July 30th, 2026
Registration closes September 15th, 2026 (or until max. capacity is reached)

 

Most nationalities have easy access to Italy, but a few require a consular visa. The process for obtaining it can be lengthy depending on your country, so please make sure to start it well in advance. Requests for visa support can be submitted during the registration process. For more information, please check https://icmi.acm.org/2026/visas/.

 Important information
  • Registration deadline for authors: At least one author of each paper must register before the applicable deadline for that paper to be included in the proceedings. For main proceedings papers, the deadline is July 23, 2026, 11:59PM AoE (Anywhere on Earth). For adjunct proceedings papers, the deadline is August 2, 2026, 11:59PM AoE.
  • Full student registration covers only one regular long or short paper (main or adjunct).
  • Full non-student regular registration covers up to two regular long or short papers (main or adjunct).
  • Registration Coverage (full) covers three main days of conference events (October 6 to 8) and the two satellite event days of co-located workshops, tutorials, challenges, and the Doctoral Consortium (October 5 and 9). It includes coffee breaks for the main conference and workshop days, lunch for the main conference (satellite days not included), a welcome reception on Monday, October 5 evening, and the banquet on Wednesday, October 7.
  • Workshop-day Only Coverage covers satellite events for attendance of one satellite day only (either Monday, October 5 or Friday, October 9), with coffee breaks. Attending both satellite days requires full registration.
  • Social Outing on Saturday, October 10th to a tourist destination is planned (not covered by registration). Booking and payment for this activity will be available online, via a separate tour operator.
  • Additional tickets for the banquet and welcome reception may be purchased during the online registration, depending on space.

*Main proceedings: Main Track – Long and Short papers, Blue Sky papers, Doctoral Consortium, Grand Challenges, Demonstrations and Exhibits, Tutorials, Workshop summaries.
**Adjunct Paper: Late Breaking Results, Workshops.
