Registration
Registrations now open!
ICMI’25 is an in-person conference, and virtual attendance is only possible under extenuating circumstances. Virtual attendees must (1) obtain prior permission from the GCs (main conference tracks) or Workshop Chairs (for workshops), and (2) nominate an in-person attendee to cover for their presentation(s), if they would like to attend virtually. Also, no distinction is made between in-person and virtual registration costs
| Registration opens: | 8 Aug 2025 |
| Early birds before: | Aug 30, AoE (Aug 31 AEST) |
| Registration closes | 5 Oct 2025 |
Note: We are accepting regular registrations only until Oct 5 (EoD). On-site registrations can only happen with a full registration fee of $1750 and an additional fee for banquet attendance will also apply.
All branding exhibit-related registrations have to be done by Oct 5.
For questions please contact Registration Chair (icmi2025-reg@acm.org).
Social event for ACII and ICMI attendees on 12th Oct
There is a social event being organized for ACII and ICMI attendees on 12th Oct (Sunday), with limited seat availability. We are organizing a bus tour to Canberra’s spring flower festival Floriade and to the local wildlife sanctuary Tidbinbilla for only AU$50 (this is a very subsidized fee). If you wish to participate, please make a payment via https://payments.canberra.
Students travel grants
We are making a limited number of travel grants available to students (and post-doctoral researchers in exceptional circumstances) to support travel and accommodation of ICMI’25 attendees. To be considered for the grant, you must:
- Have registered for ICMI’25 and attend the conference in-person (no support available for virtual attendees).
- Not avail any other grant that have been made available (e.g., NSF travel grant for US-based DC students, CCC fellowship for Blue Sky presenters).
To apply for the travel grant, please send an email to icmi2025-reg@acm.org specifying Travel Grant Application and your name in the subject line (other entries will not be considered given the volume of emails we receive each day). In your email, please justify the need for travel support, and specify the quantum of expenses estimated for attending ICMI’25.
Based on the number of applications and the funding available, we will decide on the value of the support to provide for each application. As specified on the registration page, travel grants will primarily aim to support participation from distant locations (Europe and North/South America).
Please note that the support funds will be provided to applicants as reimbursement upon successful attendance (they will not be disbursed prior to the conference).
