Call for Demonstrations and Exhibits

We invite you to submit your proposals for demonstrations and exhibits to be held during the 27th ACM International Conference on Multimodal Interaction (ICMI 2025), to be held in Canberra, Australia, 13-17 October 2025.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Demonstrations and Exhibits
<\/b><\/h5>\n

The ICMI 2025 Demonstrations & Exhibits session is intended to provide a forum to showcase innovative implementations, systems, and technologies demonstrating new ideas about interactive multimodal interfaces. It can also serve as a platform to introduce commercial products to a broader audience. <\/span><\/p>\n

Proposals may be of two types: demonstrations or exhibits. The main difference is that demonstrations include a paper of no more than three pages, to be included in the ICMI main proceedings, while the exhibits only need to include a brief outline (up to two pages) to judge the quality and fit for the conference. We encourage both the submission of early research prototypes and relevant mature systems.<\/span><\/p>\n

Demonstration Submission
<\/b><\/h5>\n

Please submit a 3-page description (including references) of the demonstration through the main ICMI conference management system. Demonstration description(s) must be in PDF format, according to the ACM conference format. For instructions and links to the templates, please see the Guidelines for Authors (https:\/\/icmi.acm.org\/2025\/guidelines\/<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

Demonstration proposals should include a description with photographs and\/or screen captures of the demonstration. Demonstration submissions should be accompanied by a video of the proposed demo (no larger than 200MB), which can include a set of (max 10) slides in PowerPoint format. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Demonstrations & Exhibits paper submissions are not blind\/anonymous. However, all other ACM rules and guidelines related to paper submission should be followed (e.g., plagiarism, including self-plagiarism). <\/span><\/p>\n
