Registration
ICMI 2022 will be held as a hybrid conference with presentations occurring both in-person in Bengaluru, India and virtually online. We hope to welcome many of you here to the IT capital of India, but are excited to make the conference accessible to those of you who cannot make the trip.
Cancellation & Exchange Policy
In-Person Registrations:
- No refund will be provided to a cancelling presenting author but registration can be transferred to another author on the same submission.
- For all other cancellations occurring on or before Monday, October 10, 11:59PM, 100% of the registration amount less a $50 processing and handling fee will be provided.
- Refunds for all other cancellations occurring on or after October 11, 2022 will be determined pending a post-conference financial review.
Virtual Registrations:
- No refund will be provided to a cancelling presenting author but registration can be transferred to another author on the same submission.
- For all other participants, no penalty.
Conditions for Exchange In-person to Remote:
- For exchanges occurring on or before Monday, October 10, 11:59PM, 100% of the registration amount difference less a $50 processing and handling fee will be provided.
- Refunds for all other exchanges occurring on or after October 11, 2022 will be determined pending a post-conference financial review.
Conditions for Exchange: Remote to In-person: No penalty.
Basic Information
- At least one author of each long or short paper must register before Monday, October 10, 11:59PM in order for that paper to be included in the proceedings.
- A full (in-person or virtual) student registration covers only one regular (long or short) paper of the main program, or of any other event ( a workshop, the Doctoral Consortium, Challenges or Late-Breaking).
- A full (in-person or virtual) non-student registration covers up to two regular (long or short) papers of the main program, or of any other event.
- Conference registration covers three main days of conference events (tentatively November 8-10) and two days of co-located workshops, tutorials, challenges, and the Doctoral Consortium (tentatively November 7 and 11).
- The In-Person registration includes coffee breaks and lunch on all five days, the banquet (tentatively on November 9), and an extracurricular trip to the historic city of Mysore.
- A Workshop-Only registration covers only the workshop day. However, for those submitting a workshop paper, the onsite workshop-only set of fees will apply, regardless of form of participation (virtual or onsite) i.e. at least one of the author should pay onsite workshop-only fees (This requirement helps cover the cost of publication.) For those just attending, both set of workshop-only fees (virtual or onsite) may apply depending on the form of participation.
- Registration for ICMI is managed by ACM. ACM accepts all major credit cards, wire transfers and checks for payment.
